Subordinate legislation: The Committee will take evidence on the Carer’s Allowance Up-rating (Scotland) Order 2019 [draft] and the Carer’s Allowance Up-rating (Scotland) Regulations 2019 (SSI 2019/21) from— Shirley-Anne Somerville, Cabinet Secretary for Social Security and Older People, Colin Brown, Solicitor, and Veronica Smith, Cross Cutting Policy Officer, Scottish Government. 3. Subordinate legislation: Shirley-Anne Somerville, Cabinet Secretary for Social Security and Older People to move— S5M-15926 —That the Social Security Committee recommends that the Carer's Allowance Up-rating (Scotland) Order 2019 [draft] be approved. 4. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will consider the following negative instrument— Carer’s Allowance Up-rating (Scotland) Regulations 2019 (SSI 2019/21) 5. Social Security Scotland: The Committee will take evidence from- David Wallace, Chief Executive, and James Wallace, Head of Finance, Social Security Scotland; Alison Byrne, Deputy Director Social Security Programme Delivery Support, Scottish Government. 6. Social Security Scotland: The Committee will consider the evidence heard earlier in the meeting.
